Evolution...? For years it has been disputed as fact or fiction. However recently more and more evidence has come to support the idea that we evolved from a lesser being. But with this new evidence comes a new idea. The story of Adam and Eve says that when Adam ate of the forbidden apple tree he committed what we know as original sin and that he condemned all men after that to have original sin. So God sent his son who was born of the holy spirit to free us from original sin and the lake of fire, Hell. All that separates the Christian religion from the Jewish religion is Jesus. Thus the theory of evolution means that man evolved as a mass and not as two people which is stated in the Bible...Or does it...
According to Genesis, humans were banished from Eden when Adam and Eve ate of the Tree of Knowledge. What if this was the act that gave us rule and control of the rest of the world? Before this, humans were just like every other species. They ran around naked and looked for food... What made them different was the fruit of the tree of knowledge. This fruit gave them wisdom and intelligence, making them "gods". Humans may be the "gods" of the things on Earth, just as God is the god of all. Knowledge gave humans a will to explore and to conquer. It made us how we are today.
Suppose a dog had eaten the fruit. They might have become the all powerful instead of us. They would possibly see the need for clothing to cover them, and maybe even advance the world. Knowledge made us leave our protected care, just as a baby leaves the womb, or a child goes to live on his own. While it is supposedly our sin, it also appears as a blessing as not being in the dark any more. It allows us to find the truth and not be left in shadow. Genetically, we are very similar to the other creatures of the earth. But our souls, our existence, our consciousness, are far from similar. We are what we are...superior, responsible, and also aware, although God may not have wanted it so...
Across the world, and across the past, people have had many beliefs and views about God. Some believe that there is one God, while others believe in many. Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Islam, and most other religions believe in one God, but they also all believe that they are right. Where did belief in this "god" even begin? Did God create people, or did people create God. In some older forms of Paganism, gods were like humans. In most new religions, humans are similar to God. Again, who is right? Are they all right? It may be so. What God is depends on how we see God, and when we believe, God exists in our minds and resides there. This greater power known as God may be first have been discovered, (or imagined) by someone seeking an answer to a question that is seemingly impossible.
I believe that God exists, and that the mystery in the Universe is his result. He (or she) may be many different things, but one theme remains the same in religion: God exists, God is powerful, and God is the creator. God may be the reason that it IS possible for people to work together, and exist cooperatively. "God" gives people hope and a being to trust. "God" should generally good for society, but problems frequently arise out of religious wars do to differences in religious beliefs. "Good" religion teaches acceptance and compassion. "Bad" religion teaches a people to be closed minded. It is all up to people to decide what will happen...
The whole world relies on religion. Almost Every person is part of some sort of religion. But what many people don't realize is that religion was created for one reason, to keep people from believing their life is worthless. Without religion when people sense they near death, they become scared and insecure. However when you put their religious beliefs in, for instance most religions do include a afterlife and some sort of soul. They no longer fear death, but except it, they think its the entrance to heaven and not the end of all conscious thought, just a new stage. Also religion unites a common people. Without religion there would be no community gathering or festivals. Religion probably first started with the idea that there are forces at work beyond our own comprehension and power. To be honest, cavemen were probably the first with religion when they worshiped the God of the sky which gave them fire. Then religion evolved from there. We may never know if there is some truth behind this religious stuff, or not. When we die we will know, but will we really know for sure...
Purgatory, the place of sacrifice, yet not hell. It is the place of repentance, or maybe just another fabrication. There is no direct mention of purgatory as an afterlife in the Bible. Instead, it seems to be yet another addition to Christianity, created to scare people into being more holy. It is not as bad as hell, but not as great as heaven. Purgatory is instead portrayed as a middle ground, where souls are purified to go to heaven, yet little else is said, with the exception of All Souls Day as a feast day.
Purgatory may in fact exist, but only as earth. Earth is a middle ground between heaven and hell. Your actions decide your eventual passage; sacrifice sends you up, greed goes down. Many people who aren't particularly good or bad may not go to purgatory per se, but remain on the earth, waiting to be sent to heaven. It is a belief that prayers help these souls, and that they eventually rise to heaven when their sacrifice is done. This supports the appearance of ghosts, as average people, in neither heaven, or hell.

Religion has always been considered a source for peace, a source of meditation and a source of happiness, and above all, a source and search for holiness. I ask you one question, in this search for peace and holiness, where has there been peace, who has been holy? It would appear that the only peace has come from governments, who don't have religious backing, i.e. America, and even then, those who do have a religion shake them. Religion is becoming the reason to start war, not a way to end wars. This quest for holiness sometimes requires self-sacrifice, and the killing of others. Religious people believe that there religion is the only real religion. They may say to be tolerant, but in reality they are only hypocrites, trying to sway non-religious opinion, while on their own they condemn other religions as false and swayed by the devil. But this brings another question to mind, when you worship satin, is that not another religion based on hate. Then why are there no wars, no blood shed, and no attacks, by sadists. It makes no sense. Religion has become a source for war. War used to be fought over land, now it's being fought over HOLYLAND.
My other question asks about those whom are on a quest to be holy. I ask you, do they appear any happier than those who are without religion do. They are basing their entire lives on something that there is little proof of and absolutely no knowledge of. Current religions are not based on what god want, but what would be good for public opinion, and what is human, and morally right. For instance, what if god does want us to kill those who commit killing of innocent people. Then again, who lays down the laws of who is innocent and what things would be considered right and wrong. You see, those who understand don't believe. They know that religion is not required for them to live a good life, they know that they will be happy without some sort of religious backing. But most of all, they don't want to be responsible for wars and innocent deaths. Life can continue without religion...
Summer is almost over and we'll kick off the fall Theories season a little early. The other webmaster is out of state, so you see I'm in control and thus, there's no progress. What is death in relation to religion. What happens at death is a real mystery. No one knows for sure because, well you would have to come back from death to tell us what happens. So the only religion with death that may know is Christianity. Jesus rose Lazerith and himself from death. So the only religion that may hold the key is Christianity. But we, at theories know the truth. When we die our bodies decompose as well as our brains. Our brains are what makes us different from animals, we actually have to ability to think instead of only acting by instinct. Well anyway, why should we, as humans, have the privilege of a life after death. Are we gods, or did a god give us this privilege. Also how could such a widely believed event be completely false. The truth you may ask, lies within our own thoughts. If we can channel our own energies in a way to control the thought process, we could travel in our brainwaves. Did I mention the Vertigo wrote a theory on that (with my help). Brainwaves may not be the life after death that we want, but it is the life after death, it is the only thing that stays alive. The key to life after death is that you take over the body of a small child in the mother's womb. In the case of split personalities, two brainwaves take consciousness in one body. In some cases, with the world population growing as it is, there are many bodies going around without the privilege of former brain waves. They must start from scratch, as stupid, unintelligent children. Other times, a brainwave has traveled out of body to long and is partially deteriorated, with is the cause of mental, and not physical retardation. When you take up residence in a new body, most of your thoughts from the past life are forgotten, as memory is needed for you new life. But occasionally there is information retained, and thus you get your super geniuses like Steven Hawking (who kicks butt by the way). Some young children learn to speak at the age of 6 or even 3 month, in vary rare, but confirmed cases. How is this possible, they don't have the mental capacity to do this, so it must come from their past life. Also, some children can speak multiple languages better then others, because in their past life they came from a different country. The answer to life after death is simple. The answer is life, or in some cases, unconsciously wandering the world search for a body before complete decay.
One of the several popular beliefs about the after afterlife, one of the most relaxing to believe in is reincarnation. It seems nice to know that your soul was in many other lives and will continue to live whatever happens, although it is not that happy if you used to be a dungbeatle. I believe mainly (that if reincarnation exists), you will be returned to the spirit of the earth until your should is needed for another life. Sound familiar? Probably not, "Final Fantasy: The Spirits Within" wasn't that popular. Never the less, it seems valid and somewhat provable.
Reincarnation is the one religion most believed in by scientists, or so I heard in a "Fox" news preview. But knowing "Fox" they base it on facts, unlike me. And it also goes well with Vertigo's soul theory. But still, wouldn't we know about our lives. And how exactly did out 'soul' lives start. But maybe now I'll put in some actual content and not only opinions. How about a possible story of creation
Our soul might have started out as one particle in another dimension or inside the earth, but started to grow after 'helping' make the first life by putting a little bit of itself. The lifeform grew and multiplied making the 'soul' grow also, and leave the organism when it dies. The soul figured out ways of improving life somewhat and started to 'mutate' the creatures to 'evolve.' Eventually we come to today where the soul has finally improved itself enough to make humans that are 'intelligent.'
This story I just created could be linked to other creation stories like for example, the first soul could be 'God' and would eventually make life in his form, humans, or so we hope. Also evil, especially killing or hurting others greatly (abuse, rape, etc.) could hurt the soul until it would have to work hard to create a soul to be it's 'son' (as I say this, I mean it could be a possibility) and also this story seems to be realistic with the actual world.
I will talk about more theories of afterlife, due to popularity of this subject by our reader(s).
Through out the ages in every continent, and in every country, people have believed in god, or gods. Until recently religion has had a vast impact upon society, religion has steered governments, started wars, but now religion is beginning the process of extinction. There remains but few mysteries to solve (but still plenty of theories to write) in our known universe. Mysteries and the unknown were the previous driving force of religion. The use a astrological images as being brought on by god were a common factor.
However, we know now that these images from space are all but supernatural. In America, the majority of scientists consider themselves Atheist, and one of the largest religions is none-practicing Catholics (those bastards). The reason for this is that religion has become a hassle. It is a waste of time for many with no need for it, and nothing to gain from it. For peace and quite people no longer need to travel to there place of worship, they can sit back and watch TV at home. Religions old driving forces depended upon ignorance, popularity, and inefficiency. Although people nowadays have not completely given up religion, they soon will, or at least they will in the future.
The only way to stop this is for a global scale disaster, such as a plague, meteor, or alien invasion. During the global disaster people will reinforce their religious beliefs. As for now, there is likely little to keep religion alive, or is there...
